Why regular people are sending crypto now.

The bank said no. The money still has to arrive.

Paying somebody used to be the bank's job, and for most of a century the bank's answer was yes.

It is "no" a lot more often now. Sanctions cut whole countries off. Banks stop talking to each other. A transfer abroad takes a week, costs forty dollars, and bounces back for a reason nobody will explain. If you are paid from another country, or send money home, you have had this exact afternoon.

That is why regular people are moving money as crypto now. Nobody finds it exciting. It arrives: in minutes, on a weekend, across a border, without asking anyone's permission.
